AUDAX - 1N THRUSTER

The Audax 1N thruster delivers reliable, high-performance spacecraft maneuvering using Rubicon's proven ASCENT® (AF-M315E) low-toxicity monopropellant technology.

Named after the Latin word for "bold," Audax reflects the confidence and control required for today's demanding space missions. The thruster utilizes durable, high-temperature materials and robust catalyst technology to support extended operational life, high throughput capability, and substantial total impulse delivery within a compact, flight-ready package.

Technical Overview

Producing 0.2–1.1 N of thrust with specific impulse exceeding 240 seconds, Audax supports precision attitude control, momentum management, stationkeeping, and small ΔV maneuvers. The thruster has demonstrated continuous burns exceeding 300 seconds, enabling long-duration firings when mission requirements demand sustained thrust.
